The most important thing to remember about smoothies, is that you do NOT want to forget about your veggies. Seriously, dont expect to make a smoothie with only sugary fruits in it, it is almost a waste of your time! Then you will just get a glycemic spike and crash in an hour. Try to balance your smoothie with a veggie-fruit 1:1 ratio.

Some little tricks I like to do:

I only ever use half a banana in my smoothies, just because of the crazy-high sugar load in bananas. And half of one still creates that super sweet banana taste!
I blend for a good 3-5 minutes to get it fully blended and not chunky.

Add your frozen ingredients first and your liquids last.

Recipes:

  • Frozen banana (half)

  • 1/2 cup berries (i like blueberries or strawberries)

  • Handful of spinach

  • Spoonful of almond butter

  • Cocao powder - A superfood, optional

  • Pure Protein Complete Powder from Young Living - Chocolate - for great nutrients, amino acids, digestive enzymes and protein.

  • 1/4 cup Riced cauliflower

  • 1/2 cup pineapple

  • 1/2 cup spinach or kale

  • 1/2 cup mango or half a banana

  • Multigreens from Young Living

  • Handful of carrots - you dont taste them at all

  • Half an avocado

  • Scoop of coconut yougrt

  • Pure Protein Complete - Vanilla

  • 1/2 cup berries

  • 1/4 cup riced cauliflower

  • Acai powder or frozen fruit packets - A great superfood

  • Handful baby spinach or kale

  • 1 frozen beet - Great for that time of month, ladies. Replenishes your iron stores.

  • Pure protein complete from Young Living.

The perfect smoothie balance is:

  3. Greens/Veggies - Riced cauliflower, spinach, kale, carrots, beets, anything your heart desires

  4. Antioxidants - Wild Blueberries, Ningxia Red, Acai, Gogi berries

Oh &&& I always like to add these a=in my smoothies each time to get maximum nutrition:

  1. Multigreens Capsules - opened up in my smoothie

  2. Ningxia Red - 2 oz

  3. Collagen Peptides - I like vital proteins

  4. Pure Protein Complete
